Product description

TER MAX is a product group in thermal insulation made of polyethylene foam, formed by foaming polyethylene with gas. The resulting product is in the form of a closed-cell foam, which property allows a wide range of foam applications for insulation purposes.

Our products are seasoned. During this time, the gas in the plastic materials contained in the cells is exchanged for air and the dimension is stabilized. Laminated (blue) lagging is used for flush mounting, and the foil protects the lagging against cement-lime mortar and mechanical damage.

  • Temperature resistance from -65 C to +95 C
  • Thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0.036 [W / mK]
  • Longitudinal shrinkage at 95 C below 1.65%
  • Water vapor diffusion resistance coefficient 3500

Polyethylene foam coatings have properties that prevent water vapor diffusion, which protects pipes against dew and corrosion. Due to the very low water absorption (after 24 hours WAvśr = 0.1 [%]), the coatings practically do not absorb water. Products made of foamed polyethylene also have sound-absorbing properties.

Colors Ter Max PW

Two colors of lagging are available:

  • blue
  • Red.
