Product description
PAROC InVent 60 N1 is a non-combustible stone wool slab for thermal insulation and noise protection for ventilation equipment. The product is covered with a white glass veil.
PAROC InVent 60 N3 is a non-combustible stone wool slab for thermal insulation and noise protection of ventilation equipment. The product is covered with black woven fabric.
PAROC InVent is faced on one or both sides with G9 (black) glass or glass veil (N1- white, N3- black). It is designed for acoustic and thermal insulation of ventilation ducts, plenum boxes, filling slots, silencers, acoustic screens, cassettes and soundproof panels, and as internal sound insulation in ventilation devices. PAROC InVent panels can be used to dampen ventilation ducts from the inside. This solution makes it possible to eliminate the acoustic silencer from the system and, additionally, when the conduit is routed outside the building, it avoids the need to use an additional insulation jacket. InVent panels with G9 coating combine the best features of so far used in products intended for roofing acoustics. These are very good sound absorption coefficients and sound absorption classes comparable to a traditional veil and high surface resistance to mechanical damage. Moreover, they successfully passed the tests aimed at examining the resistance of the sample to fungi and bacteria, carried out in accordance with the EN ISO 846 standard "Assessment of the impact of microorganisms on plastics", carried out at INSTITUT FUR LUFTHYGIENE in Berlin. During the study, it was assessed whether the material was indifferent to the microorganism in it and whether it could serve fungi or bacteria as a medium. As a result of testing, PAROC InVent panels with G9 coating have been classified as suitable for use in HVAC installations.
Strength
- Durability of Reaction to Fire with Time / Degradation: The fire performance of mineral wool does not deteriorate with time. The European product classification is related to the organic binder content which does not increase with time.
- Durability of Reaction to Fire at High Temperature: The fire performance of stone wool does not deteriorate at high temperature. The fire rating of a product is related to its organic content, which remains constant or decreases at higher temperatures.
- Thermal resistance stability over time / degradation: The thermal conductivity of the mineral wool product is constant over time, years of experience have shown that the structural fibers are stable and the product pores are free from gases other than atmospheric air.
- Consistency of thermal resistance at high temperatures: The thermal conductivity of a mineral wool product is unchanged over time, years of experience have shown that the structural fibers are stable and there are no other gases in the pores of the product except atmospheric air.
