Product description

Maxrite HT is a repair mortar for application in layers up to 10 cm thick (without the use of formwork). It is available as a one-component cement-based product to be mixed only with water. It is modified with microsilicates and polymers, reinforced with fibers and contains anti-corrosion inhibitors. In particular, it is used to repair structural concrete that is exposed to an aggressive environment. Provides additional protection for steel reinforcement. Maxrite HT has thixotropic properties and a long pot life, making it possible to repair concrete on vertical surfaces.

    Technical data

    • gray powder
    • specific gravity of the powder 1.3 0.1 kg / m 3
    • mixing water in the proportion of 18 1% by weight
    • specific gravity of fresh mortar 2.14 0.1 kg / m 3
    • specific gravity of dry mortar 1.85 0.1 kg / m 3
    • setting time at 20 ° C initial / final is 5/8 h
    • compressive strength after 28 days (according to EN 12190) 33.5 MPa (R3)
    • adhesion to concrete (in accordance with EN 1542) 2.1 MPa
    • adhesion after freezing cycles (according to EN 13687-1) 2.1 MPa
    • adhesion after wetting cycles (according to EN 13687-2) 2.6 MPa
    • adhesion after drying cycles (in accordance with EN 13687-4) 2.1 MPa
    • modulus of elasticity (according to EN 13142) 21.4 MPa
    • water absorption (according to EN 13057) 0.01 kg / m 2 h 0.5
    • resistance to carbonation in concrete at a depth of 4 mm (according to EN 13295) 1.8 mm
    • chloride content in (according to EN1015-17) 0.012%
    • indicative wear layer 1.85 kg / m 2/1 mm
    • layer thickness minimum / maximum 5/100 mm

    Application

    • structural repair of concrete with corroded reinforcement (marine environment, ports, dams, bridges)
    • repair of concrete structures undergoing the carbonation process
    • repair of concrete damaged by de-icing salts, multiple loads
    • repair of concrete element in prefabricated units
    • maintenance of industrial surfaces damaged by aggressive surroundings, atmospheric pollution, acid rain
    • prevention of corrosion caused by chlorides and other aggressive corrosive agents - thanks to anti-corrosion inhibitors
    • protection against corrosion the rod in the reinforcement and damage after freezing and thawing cycles - thanks to water resistance

Due to the high adhesion to concrete and the bar in the reinforcement, the stresses are transferred to the repaired structure. Maxrite HT is characterized by good chemical resistance to aggressive agents, including salts, sulfates. It can be applied by hand or by wet spraying.
